Sole Commerce Buzz is your exclusive preview to this year’s fair. Check the Daily every week for the brands we’re most excited about! Sole Commerce runs February 25 to 27.

Sole Commerce is the leading footwear and accessories event in the United States. Merchandised within Coterie, the show highlights some of the most interesting brands available now. Here are some editor’s picks to introduce you to who is showing:

1. Vagabond
Vagabond was founded in Sweden in 1973, priding itself on craftsmanship and quality of design. These days the company is also proudly focused on sustainability, looking to “close the loop” of production. Through the Shoe Bring Back initiative, the brand asks consumers to drop off used shoes at its locations, rather than throwing them away. The used shoes are then either donated to charity (if they are still in good condition), or the materials are recycled into new Vagabond shoes.

2. CC Corso Como
Who says heels can’t be comfortable? CC Corso Como shoes feature springy gel pads and breathable insoles in its European-inspired wares. Between the brand’s two lines — the other is CC Corso Como Sport — there are a bevy of options that can take you from day to night, weekday to weekend.

3. Chinese Laundry
The Los Angeles-based label was founded in 1971 by Robert and Carol Goldman, and has since grown into four lines, generating over $1 billion in sales. CL By Laundry was launched in 2003 as a trend-driven collection. Meanwhile Dirty Laundry has a more bohemian vibe. Finally there’s Kristin Cavallari by Chinese Laundry, a collaboration with the reality TV star.

4. Patricia Green
Patricia Green founded her eponymous line in 2000, initially as a slipper company. Unable to find a pair that were comfortable, warm, and beautiful, she started making her own. The results were mistaken by many as shoes. She began producing shoes for real, starting with a line of moccasins. Now she has expanded her collection, featuring new espadrille styles.
